ASSISTANT TREASURER

Sergeant (Ret.) Deborah Hunter-Smith served 23 years in the US Army and Army Reserves. She has held the positions of Field Medic, Food Inspector Specialist, Recruiter, and Personnel Records Specialist. 

 

Deborah is retired and currently serves on the Fort Hamilton Retiree Council and has held the positions of Secretary and currently

Co-Chairperson for the annual Retiree Appreciation Day. 

 

She has had a dual-career where she was also a NYC Correction Officer with the NYC Department of Correction for 25 years. 

 

Deborah is also a member of Bedford Central Presbyterian Church and currently serves on the Deacon Board since 2019 and serves as Treasurer for the Women’s Ministry. 

 

Deborah is a proud “Lifetime Member” of NABMW currently serving as Assistant Treasurer with the Brooklyn Chapter.
